Contact your ILD team soon — not as an emergency — if you notice:
- Breathlessness slowly getting worse over days or weeks
- A new or worsening cough
- Fever, or cough with coloured phlegm
- Oxygen readings at rest lower than your usual
- Swelling of the legs or ankles
- Unplanned weight loss or poor appetite
- Side effects from your medicines — such as loose motions, vomiting, rash, yellowing of the eyes, or unusual tiredness
Also let them know before
- Starting any new medicine, including herbal or Ayurvedic medicines
- Planned surgery or procedures
- Air travel or travel to high altitude
If symptoms are severe or sudden, see Emergency warning signs instead.
